For instance, he doesn’t explain binding vs unbound and that’s a crucial piece of relevant knowledge. It is, however, useful as an introduction to one of the spiritual gifts and certainly useful in explaining discernment to a teen or adult who has no understanding of discernment.Product details

I am always impressed with Frank Hammond's work. It is very important that each Christian is a warrior....especially in this time of our lives. One can see what spirit is controlling their friends, family, or even themselves. We need more material like this in our churches!
It is such useful information for those who are gifted in the discernment of spirits. I have struggled to find books on this topic. I would recommend this read to anyone who is interested in gifts of the spirit. Discerning the spirit; being a part of a deliverance ect.
Very good book, and it's very easy to understand.
I received valuable insight from this book. The author kept it straightforward and clear. Every word written within it gave me confirmation of what the Holy spirit had been ministering to me about. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants the gifts of the Holy Spirit to fully operate in their lives for the Kingdom of God.
I am a Frank Hammond fan and have much of his writing. This little book does not disappoint and I'll be rereading it from time to time. My favorite quote from this book "It's good to know what's going on in the spiritual realm." This book can be read in one sitting. It's helpful, well-written, and to the point.
In my view, this book deals more with the spiritual gift of the Word of Knowledge than it does with the spiritual gift of Discerning of Spirits. They may be closely related but they are very distinct which is very difficult to teach because the Scriptures give examples of the gifts operating without much emphasis on the specific details explaining the operation of each gift. For sure, it is not what we have in our head necessarily but what we have in our heart that is important to equip a believer to be used by the Holy Spirit. If we are truly being led by the Holy Spirit, the operation of the gifts of the Spirit will edify the believers and build up the body of Christ. I am grateful for every endeavor to provide tools to help us better understand the Scriptures. The bottom line is we all need the illumination given by the Holy Spirit to reveal and help us understand what a gracious God has done for mankind through a crucified and resurrected Jesus Christ.
Excellent! Very concise, pulls no punches about NOT speaking with demons, but relying on the Holy Spirit to help us help others. The only section that needed more clarification was towards the end when he wrote about territorial spirits. I believe it to be helpful when the Holy Spirits reveals what spirits are over neighborhoods, towns, cities, regions, countries, continents; but, nowhere do we see Jesus, any apostle, disciple, prophet, nor anyone in the Old Covenant scriptures bind, cast these types of spirits from their assigned territory. If we could do this, we would see it in the scripture and this would shutdown places like brothels, etc...we only have dominion over ourselves and our homes, scripture backs this up. Now saying that, it is quite helpful to know by revelation what type of spirits are over these areas, to understand why the people act and think the way they do.
